Does WebToSlides work with Google Slides?
Updated
Yes. WebToSlides exports .pptx, and Google Slides imports .pptx natively. Open Google Slides, choose `File → Import slides`, and pick the downloaded file — every slide comes through editable, with text, bullets, tables, and images intact.
There is no separate "Google Slides" export because none is needed: .pptx is the universal interchange format. Google's importer translates PowerPoint placeholders into Google Slides equivalents automatically.
Two small caveats: (1) custom PowerPoint fonts may be substituted if your Google account doesn't have those fonts available — pick web-safe fonts in your brand kit to avoid this; (2) PowerPoint slide masters become Google Slides themes, so heavy custom masters may need a one-time cleanup pass.
For mixed teams (some on PowerPoint, some on Google Slides) the .pptx flow works for both — you don't need to maintain two versions of the deck.
